When we hosted the 2014 Giro d'Italia they had a public sportive on the route of stage 2, the week before. I enjoyed almost all 220km of it. Riding through Co Antrim villages decked out in pink, with villagers turning out to cheer us amateurs through. Sure, let's do it again.
